Frequently Asked Questions
You say that delivery time is usually 2-3 weeks from receipt of payment,
but what if I require my order sooner?
Please let us know the date your order is required, we realise that trophies
are usually for a presentation night and we will endeavour to have your order
complete and delivered with a few days to spare for peace of mind. In the event
of time being short we would still hope to be able to deliver in time and will
let you know an estimated delivery date. For orders required in less than a
week it is advisable to ring us first, it is often possible but will require
confirmation and will incur a 10% surcharge.
Can I order and pay for my trophies online?
Yes you can place an order online by completing the online order form. Once
we have received your order we will then calculate the cost to include any
engraving charges, discounts and delivery cost. You will be notified by email
of the total due and a detailed invoice will be sent by post or by fax if
requested. Don't worry if you need to make minor changes to the order or engraving
details, changes can still be made up to this point. Payment can then be made
by cheque, postal order, internet transfer or by credit or debit card over
the phone.
How much engraving can I have on a trophy?
The amount of engraving possible does depend on the size of the engraving plate
for the trophy. The majority of trophies take a 50mm x 16mm engraving plate.
We would recommend no more than 3 lines of engraving and up to 20 characters
(including spaces) per line for a plate this size. Some trophies can take
a larger plate and therefore more engraving, please ask if you are unsure.
How does the engraving charges work.
The first 25 characters are engraved free of charge if the value of the individual
trophy is £6 or over. If under £6 then we either round up to £6
to include the first 25 characters engraving or an extra charge of £1.50
applies whichever is the least. Extra engraving is charged at 10p per character.
The above only applies where an engraving plate is used. As a rule, if the
engraving is directly on to the item such as silver, pewter, crystal, glass,
brass etc. then extra charges apply, please ask for a quotation.
